And The Beat Goes On… Monday Night Drumming + Sunset Picnic Every Monday, Starting June 30 At 6:30 PM
Kick off your week with rhythm, connection, and salty summer air at one of the Hamptons’ most beloved weekly traditions: Monday Night Drumming at Sagg Main Beach.
Join Gatherings Social Club and locals in the know for an informal sunset meet-up set to the energizing beats of Escola de Samba Boom, led by Richard Siegler of Shelter Island. Each Monday, the beach transforms into an open-air celebration, where around 30 drummers come together to play, teach, and jam as the sun melts into the horizon. The vibe is spontaneous, inclusive, and magical.
Bring your own picnic, something to sip, and a beach blanket. Whether you’re coming solo, with friends, or making new ones on the sand, you’ll be surrounded by movement, music, and summer joy. As the drumming transitions into an African drum circle, you’re welcome to join the rhythm, dance, or simply soak it all in.
What to Bring:
Your own picnic & drinks (rosé or mocktails encouraged!)
Beach blanket or low chair
Friends or just yourself
A beach parking permit (or ride-share with someone who has one)
